That’s A Big Dude!

One thing Samson was missing in his life was devotion to God.  Isn’t it interesting that in the end he turned to God and was devoted to Him but only because he was completely helpless and hopeless.  There is one decision that we can make in our lives that can make all the difference in our devotion to God.  THANKFULNESS.  The Bible tells us over and over that we must choose to be thankful.  Thankfulness is the fuel that drives our passion and desire.  It is a response to our circumstances that overcomes any doubt as to the “perfect work of God” in our lives.

So what did Samson have to be thankful for?  You tell me…Read Judges 13-16 and find some things he could have been thankful for.  What do you have to be thankful for?  What are you taking advantage of in your life?
